Using Your Imported Number

For Inbound Testing

  1. Navigate to Agents → Select your agent
  2. In Agent Settings, set the imported Plivo number as the Contact Number
  3. Cekura will automatically route test calls to your agent via Plivo

For Outbound Testing

  1. When creating an Evaluator or running tests
  2. Select your imported Plivo number as the Caller ID
  3. Outbound test calls will originate from your Plivo number

For Send DTMF Testing

Plivo numbers support the Send DTMF tool, letting your testing agent send DTMF keypress tones during a call. This is useful for testing scenarios that involve:
  • IVR menus with keypress navigation
  • Voicemail systems with tone-based inputs
  • Authentication flows requiring PIN or code entry
Send DTMF is only supported for Cekura and Plivo phone numbers. Use your Plivo number or a Cekura-provided number for this functionality.

Troubleshooting

Solution:
  • Verify your Auth ID and Auth Token are correct
  • Ensure the Auth Token hasn’t been regenerated
  • Check that your Plivo account is active and in good standing
Solution:
  • Each Plivo number can only be imported once per Cekura project
  • Check if the number is already in your Phone Numbers list
  • Contact support if you need to update an existing import
Solution:
  • Ensure the phone number is in E.164 format (e.g., +12025551234)
